What happens when you die in dragon age origins?

i died while doing some quest and i was in a group so when i died i took control of them so i said that **** that and loaded my old save so what happens when you die do you stay dead or do you come back and if you do come back how than?What happens when you die in dragon age origins?
If you die and your party survives the battle, then you will come back to life. This is true of your other party members as well. So if you die, just use the rest of your party to finish up the fight. You will have an injury though and either need to go back to your camp or use an injury kit to heal yourself.
