It depends -- how much do you like the game? If you like it enough that you think you'll play it again, keep going and save Lothering for your 2nd playthrough. I never found Sten or Leiliana very useful, but you would miss out on what they add to the story. You can still become an Arcane Warrior, you unlock that specialization when you go in to the ruins in the Brecilian Forest. It's up to you, it's not like you need to re-do much if you go back to an earlier save.
