Is there a lot of difference between Dragon age: Origins on Xbox 360 and PC?

I've played the xbox 360 version many times, but I was wondering if the PC version is any different? Thanks (:Is there a lot of difference between Dragon age: Origins on Xbox 360 and PC?
The PC version is a ton more difficult. you would find yourself pausing the game to make a tactical decision or spell a lot more. IMO this is the way Dragon Age is meant to be played.

I cant decide bewteen Dragon Age Origins or Demon's Souls. Read details of why it is so hard.?

Well Dragon Age Origins has a long gameplay, something i love about it, and bioware. Also it is not that depenable on online, which i dont have. Demon's Souls is hard, which i like, but i dont have online which online makes the gaming experiance so much better, or does it? PLease please help me in this perdicament.I cant decide bewteen Dragon Age Origins or Demon's Souls. Read details of why it is so hard.?
Demon's Souls in my opinion is better the DAO. It actually has a HUGE amount of gameplay it takes about 80 hours to complete everything and im not lying It took me about 4 hours to complete the tutorial and then you can create another class and see what tha class i like it really has an infinite amount of gameplay but then without online I dont think its worth it it just gives it so much more thrill like when the message pops up Black Phantom ******* has invaded your realm! Then you start going on defensive and knowing you lose all of your money and progress makes it more thrilling. Also online its easier to gain your soul back once you have died. If you wont ever go online I say DAO but if you will get Demon's Souls for sure

Dragon age origins what do you think of hexes spells AND are they effective with AI?

i would like to upgrade Morrigan with this school. 3rd and 4th tier of hexes sound very nice, should they work on bossesDragon age origins what do you think of hexes spells AND are they effective with AI?
The hexes, especially the one that makes normal hits on the target critical hits are quite useful. Set her AI to debilitator and use your melee guys to anhiliate.

My first playthough was with a mage, and I focused on pure destructive power and let Morrigan handle debuffs/crowd control. Spell might + blizzard + tempest = Storm of the Century. MAJOR damage. It has a very wide AoE so keep your team far back or wait until they are already down.

  • Dragon Age Origins Pink Flames on Character and Party?

It's either flames or some kind of aura. How the hell do I get rid of it?Dragon Age Origins Pink Flames on Character and Party?
Some sustained abilities have their visual effects even out of combat. There's two solutions: turn off the sustained abilities outside of combat, or install a mod. If you choose the former, keep in mind you can set the activation of a sustained ability as a tactic. If you set the trigger to "Any", then they will turn on that ability as soon as enemies approach. If you want to install a mod, head over to http://www.dragonaxenexus.com/Dragon Age Origins Pink Flames on Character and Party?
Go through your party turning off their sustained abilities, so that you loose their bonuses as well. You may also have to change the characters tactics so they won't activate the sustained ability and give you the bonuses.

Who here really like Dragon Age Origins?

I asked this question on the Steam site but they are all a bunch of ******* over there who only ***** about stuff. So I will ask you here, not including the expansions or anything like that but the main game itself who found it a good game or bad game and why?Who here really like Dragon Age Origins?
honestly i really enjoyed it i did buy all of the dlc besides the expansion atm. It had a good plot and isn't too ridiculously hard unlike divinity 2 but that's a whole other story. sure the graphics weren't too good granted but i thought the amount of freedom while still linear made the game also fun. Now i just need to get the expansion and then the 2nd one went it comes out.

Also the 2nd dragon age is totally going to blow people away that's just my opinion at the moment.Who here really like Dragon Age Origins?
i have already played through it twice. its a really fun game with a good story. i enjoy the different class and though the graphics were good. im thinking if i should play it a third time with the class i havent used yet.

cant wait for the sencond one to come out.

Are Fable 2 and Dragon Age Origins anythings like Oblivion?

i like fallout 3 and oblivions game engine..and i want something like that..are those 2 games anythings like that. if not...which of the 2 should i get?Are Fable 2 and Dragon Age Origins anythings like Oblivion?
    Yes.

You really ought to get both. Oblivion and Fallout both had a lot of repetitive side quests. Fable 2 has really interesting side quests and main storyline and the clothes, relationships, artwork, and items are really cool. There are a lot of little humorous bits in that game that you constantly come across, too. You can't personalize your avatar, though, only make it a guy or a girl in the beginning. You can, however, change and dye clothes and hair and put on different makeup, facial hair, and hair styles anytime you want during game play. I greatly enjoyed being able to change up my character and not always stare at the same hairstyle and makeup.

The plot in Dragon Age is phenomenal and you can choose from 6 different origin stories and there are several endings. You also have tons of different skills, specializations, items, and abilities that you can choose from. You can play Dragon Age through many times, because every decision you make can change the game play for you significantly, even the ones you make on side quests.

You can fully customize your avatar and choose to be either a dwarf, human or noble. You can't change what they look like once you start the game. You can only change clothes and they don't have that many great options in the game. Dragon Age allows you to control your avatar, as well as 3 of your party members. This makes for some really cool tactical advantages when doing battle. For instance, you can order all your party members to attack one enemy. You could select the mage to do a spell and while she does that you move on to your warrior and select a skill and then order your dog to do "dread howl" , while you paralyze your enemy with one of your talents. It is a lot of fun.

Mass Effect was the game that made me a gamer and it was made by bioware, just like Dragon Age. It is very similar. You should look into that one, too. Mass Effect 2 comes out soon!

I am in love with Dragon Age right now and will be playing it through many times. If you can only buy one, I guess I'd say go with Dragon Age, although Fable 2 is likely being sold used now, so you can get it at a discount. You really should own both if you love RPGs.
The concept is the same but they do play alittle different. I have played all of those games and i really liked all of them. fable and dragon age are in third person view so you dont have as much control over your person as in oblivion but still loads of fun. But if i had to pick, i would say get Dragon Age, p.s. i heard that in less than a year Fable 3 will be out.Are Fable 2 and Dragon Age Origins anythings like Oblivion?
dragon age has a strategy control(wow, aion)(or should i say time step gameplay) (nothing like fable or oblivion) if you played neverwinter night 2 its almost the same thing.
No not even close! the only thing that is same is that they both are RPG!

Thoe Oblivion is an first person rpg!Are Fable 2 and Dragon Age Origins anythings like Oblivion?
    Just get Dragon Age.
Dragon age looks like a mix of oblivion and fabel is from what ive seen

Which game is better and what i should i get between dragon age origins or dragon age 2?

Hello i was wondoring which game should i get between these 2 because i can only afford one game and was wondoring which is the best game i should get because i heard both of these games are goodWhich game is better and what i should i get between dragon age origins or dragon age 2?
The majority says Origins is better because of its more detailed skill trees and epic storyline. I think Dragon Age II is much better because of its better characters and more personal and mature storyline revolving around political conflicts.

But you should probably start with Origins. It's cheaper, longer and introduces some key concepts that are vital in Dragon Age II (qunari, Circle of Magi).Which game is better and what i should i get between dragon age origins or dragon age 2?
yeah even though dragon age 2 is alot better, if you dont get orgins then you wont fully get everything in the second one. http://www.justgameblogger.com/Which game is better and what i should i get between dragon age origins or dragon age 2?
Get Origins complete it and all its DLC then get DA2
    Get Both.
