Dragon Age Origins question, why were the Elves enslaved but not the Dwarfs?

I understand that humans have enslaved many of their own kind before in history, and probably would others if there were on this planet, but what I want to know is... why did they enslave the elves and not the dwarfs? Also, the Qunari weren't enslaved either, but I suspect they were too strong, but why the elves though? Aren't they strong as well? Were they too weak to defend themselves? Also, does anybody have the history behind it?Dragon Age Origins question, why were the Elves enslaved but not the Dwarfs?
Dwarves are mostly isolationist and kept to themselves in the Deep Roads and their underground thaigs for the most part except for those few who left to become merchants, and humans had no interest in going there or controlling it. I don't have a detailed history on hand, but if you talk to people, read... codex entries, whatever they were called, you get a lot of this history over the course of the game.Dragon Age Origins question, why were the Elves enslaved but not the Dwarfs?
The Dwarves were too short to catch and they just hid in the caves. After a while the humans could not be bothered and went for the lanky Elves.Dragon Age Origins question, why were the Elves enslaved but not the Dwarfs?
