There really aren't any cheats that give you a power-up, but there is a glitch to allow you to get to level 20 before leaving Ostagar. The Battle of Redcliffe shouldn't take 6-12 hours it should take less than an hour.The first link below discusses a glitch which explains why someone would think it takes 6-12 hours, and the second is a list of any cheats/glitches known for the game.
